Message from Chief Bull
Obishikokaang Resources continues to provide economic development opportunities for our community. Band members are working as part of the management teams, supervising harvesting and playing an important role in forest regeneration activities, including forest data collection, tree planting, cone picking and thinning. Most importantly our youth are involved through a summer junior ranger program, hopefully becoming inspired to someday take a larger role in the management of our forest!
Since that time, Obishikokaang Resources Corporation has successfully managed the forest on behalf of the community under the direction of Chief and Council. We have established a team of experienced professional foresters who do a great job in representing the community, ensuring that the forest is managed according to both our community values and the forest management plan.

While significant work lies ahead, I am very pleased with the progress that has been made. I would like all of us to recognize what a significant accomplishment this as been for the community and the staff and contractors of Obishikokaang Resources.
